The church contains one of the finest examples of a mediaeval ‘rood’ screen in the country and an exquisite 15th century illuminated songbook, known as the Ranworth Antiphoner
Located adjacent to the River Ant at Stalham Staithe, this museum of Norfolk Broadland life is unique with exhibits detailing how the Broads were shaped, examples of the boats which plied the rivers in bygone days and how people's working lives shaped the landscape.

Hire a day boat for the hour, the half day or whole day from either of two bases on the Norfolk Broads. Wroxham is the capital of the Broads and hire from here will allow visits to Horning, Coltishall, and Ranworth Broad. Hire from Potter Heigham to take in the quieter stretches of the River Thurne including Hickling, Horsey Mere and West Somerton.
How Hill House, situated in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, was built in 1904 by the architect Edward Thomas Boardman as his family's holiday home. This is set in 365 acres offering countryside walks. Marshman's Cottage is a recreation of life in the 1800's. Also available is a water trail which can be explored by electric launch - advance booking is advised.
